The club was founded 15th
April 1999 to promote the sport of target shooting and rid the sport of discrimination and
racisms that has divided the sport for 130 years. People began to notice that the sport
was International and not only a chosen few should enjoy the sport due their ethnic or
society background but The Sport was for ALL! While clubs raised their entrance fees and
subs to prevent the untouchable from entering the sport. The good survives.

We are a Happy to announce that Tarran Deosarn
is the National champion of Trinidad and Tobago in Olympic 50 Meter Rifle prone Rifle
shooting. His performance was so good that he out shot all the members of the Trinidad
Rifle Association and all other clubs.
The southern games is now
completed with, the Gold medal club winning 50m prone Rifle

The Cible Dor shooting
competition in Barbados, ending of may beginning of June. All shooting disciplines. The
tra is trying to locate a reasonable price hotel, as we have been thrown in a 5* hotel
150USD plus TAX. This is tuff of athletes.

host the copa del caribe …no news as yet. The main event of the year will be the CAT
games in fort benning Georgia in all shooting discipline where MQS will be offered. Those

Those persons who are
interested in attending the CAC, Commonwealth and PANAM games, TRIALS will start the
Tucker valley shooting range MAY 2001. As you know the 8th place score will be used from
the last games. THE

As you all know we have
been trying hard for this I personally spoke to Mr Forde the TRA vice president, who
indicated that once he was returned to office at the AGM he will attend to this as a
matter of priority. He was returned and we wait again.
